being an exponent of pi
steve waternman july 18, 2000
it certainly was not my intention
to suggest the constants had no dimension
but just like pi, that's stripped from its relation
the whole damn lot deserves like castration
light ain't distance divided by time
but times itself it equals nine
since pi is pi, that makes light three
their 2.998 is still too tiny
pi is there in most that exists
as part of a fraction with two little twists
given each their exponents of pi, two and three
and that's their value to eternity
each in turn connects to all others
a grand design simply uncovered
and when used as factors, the results confirming
equations of thousands, a new map for learning
first came their measurements under scrutiny
next were their equations having powers of three
my Rydberg came close with decimals past ten
but linked straight to pi, these decimals don't end
so pi is a number, and all constants too
the lyman connection gives us a clue
that packing of spheres and electron mass
are mathematically linked in eternal impasse
the nucleus too is sphere pack related
its external shape must be striated
not protons with quarks, nor spheres of charge vested
but once come together, shapes must be manifested
protons and neutrons one in the same
tilt them off quarter axis and alter their name
tilt them past half and back as they began
a neat trick for protons, that physics cannot explain
all things are numbers pythagoras said
einstein spoke and that theory went dead
heisenberg proved we never could be sure
while that is true, it should not obscure
the fact that we as humans may never know
but just because, that don't make it so
yes, all things are numbers and still should be true
for measured or not, their values comes through
