MASS ENERGY TRANSFORMATIONS



WORK ENERGY THEOREM W = ½MV2

LET V = c, then W = ½mc2

according to Einstein's formulation W = mc - moc2 where mo is the rest mass of a particle. where m is the total mass of a particle

So, if W = W, replacing W...

½mc2    = mc2 - moc2
mc2    = 2mc 2- 2moc2
0   = mc2- 2moc2
2moc2   = mc2
2mo    = m
mo    = m/2


This would be somewhat difficult to interpret in terms of physical reality.

My interpretation would be that the rest mass of a particle is equal to ½ of its total mass.

So, when a particle is at rest...it loses ½ of its mass ?

This makes no real sense and therefore my conclusion would be that either

the work energy formula W = ½ MV2

or

Einstein's formulation W = mc - moc2

must be invalid.

If nothing can go faster that the speed of light, then what does c2 mean in a physical sense?

c = meters/second = distance/time = velocity

c2 = (meters/second)2 = area/time = ?

CONCLUSIONS

From the view of fixed-point space and fixed-interval time and fixed-quanta matter, there are no mass-less energy packets.

Energy is simply the fixed quanta value times its fixed-point distance displacement over some fixed-interval time. Mass itself does not change inherently due to movement.



Velocity has no inherent impact upon the mass of the transformation of fixed-point locations.

When a unit sphere exhibits motion: changes fixed-point locations, over some fixed interval time, the mass of the unit sphere remains the same.

When a fixed-quanta agglomeration exhibits motion; changes fixed-point locations, over some fixed interval time, either the quanta value remains the same or the quanta value changes.

Should the quanta value change, then the original "particle" can also not be the same as it was, and is now a different "particle" altogether as its very defining characteristic- quanta - has been changed.

Velocity has no inherent impact upon any physical dimensions: that is, there is no length contraction due to (matter) changing fixed-point locations.

Light has no inherent impact upon time.

Time is independent of light.

Light is a physical agglomeration of fixed-quanta matter which gives it the inherent ability to exhibit a wave pattern.
